    Come relax on the Ruthmere Grounds during "Drive In Fridays" presented by Center for Hospice Care the last Friday of June - September. Listen to the hot edge sounds of the nationally touring band The Legal Immigrants while you enjoy a beverage and food (alcoholic beverages will be served). Specialty car clubs and private collectors will display their autos during each "Drive In Friday." Don't miss out!

    Jennifer Johns, curator, will present a Gallery Talk about Halloween traditions on Tuesday, October 3rd at the Havilah Beardsley House at 11am. Gallery Talks feature a twenty-minute discussion on an object/artwork within the Ruthmere collection or a person or event in local history. Gallery Talks are free and open to the public. Gallery Talks are sponsored by Garber's Interior Design.

    Gemeinhardt Flutists Rebecca Hovan and Matthew Allison will provide an unforgettable flute duet concert and present information on the new Gemeinhardt Teaching Artist Program.

    Ticket pricing for the 2017 Fall Concert Series is as follows: Single concert non-members $40 per seat. Single concert Ruthmere Members $25 per seat. Season Pass for all four concerts with reserved seating is $100 per seat (available ONLY to Ruthmere Members).  Note: Non-member Fall Concert ticket price includes a 10-day trial membership. Ruthmere Fall Concerts are considered private party events.

    Liana Paniyeva is an international award-winning concert pianist living in New York.  Liana Paniyeva was born in Azerbaijan.  She is a graduate from Manhattan School of Music and the University of Hartford.  Her skills have taken Liana around the world, and now she brings her talents to the Ruthmere stage.  Her photograph below shows Liana performing at Carnegie Hall in 2012.

    Jeremy Kahn was born near Chicago, and today lives with his family in Oak Park, Illinois.  A jazz pianist by trade, Jeremy also plays on recordings that motivate you to consume your favorite products, and performs in pit orchestras for some of your favorite theatrical extravaganzas.  Jeremy has accompanied Dizzy Gillespie, Max Roach, Joni Mitchell, Phil Woods, Teramasu Hino, Charlie Haden, Aretha Franklin, Barbara Cook, Alvin and the Chipmunks, and everyone in between.  His program for November 9 will be "Hoosier Daddies: Jeremy Kahn plays the music of Cole Porter and Hoagy Carmichael."

    Elkhart favorite son Nicholas Roth will treat Ruthmere patrons with his annual "Black Friday Concert, " the Friday evening after Thanksgiving, what a way to celebrate the holiday!  Nicholas is Professor of piano at Drake University. Don't miss Nicholas Roth for this once in a lifetime performance!

    Sunday with Santa will give you an unforgettable photo op with Santa in Rutmere's Library and a story and music program for young children and their families from Mr. & Mrs Claus. Admission is $10 per person (only $5 each for Ruthmere members). Seating is extremely limited. There will be two seatings of Sunday with Santa at 1pm and 3pm.
